The Ageing Equation builds the intelligence that closes that gap. Eight years of continuous, sector-wide observation, explainable prediction models, and software that shows its working, so that every answer can be defended to a board, a regulator, or a family.
Our aged care intelligence platform, launched in 2026. Pricing predictions, financial benchmarks, compliance and workforce data across every residential aged care facility in Australia, plus home care pricing. Used by provider executives and strategy teams.
careiq.auPortfolio pricing reviews, accommodation and home care pricing strategy, viability analysis, and market assessment for specific sites and regions. The same models, applied to one organisation's question, with the reasoning handed over rather than withheld.
Pricing and market predictions come from our own machine learning models, developed continuously since 2021 and in production since 2022. Patent applications were filed in Australia and the United States in November 2024.
The models are built so that the reason for an answer can be read off the answer. Nothing is a black box we ask you to trust. An estimate a board cannot interrogate is an estimate a board cannot use.
Every figure traces to a source. Where the data is thin, we say so. Where a number cannot be traced, we decline to give one rather than fill the gap with a guess.
An Australian company, analysing Australian data, with the analysis performed here.
In our software, artificial intelligence explains the numbers. It is never the source of them.
Predictions are computed by our own validated models. The language layer retrieves figures through read-only queries over governed data and reports the model's measured error rate to the person reading it. An advisor that quotes its own error bars is an advisor a board can trust.
Safdar Ali is the founder and managing director. A decade in aged care finance, a graduate of the Harvard Business Analytics Program, and the person who builds and operates the platform rather than commissioning it. The company has reached production without outside capital.
Applied to New South Wales alone, the methodology identified material mispricing in roughly two in five of 2,000 accommodation prices analysed. Client work is confidential and no provider is named on this page.
